The WA Branch is supported by a Branch Management Committee elected by the Branch membership.
The Branch’s key role is to provide local support for AASW members through a range of activities that enable members to network, develop practice skills and organise around social justice issues.

Over forty social workers met to celebrate World Social Work Day over a delicious buffet style breakfast overlooking the Swan River listening to a thought provoking talk on the WSWD theme of Strengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeing.

We are excited to announce, AASW member, Victor Adeseolu shared this year’s Roshana Care Group Diversity Award for founding Murdoch Life Assist – a pioneering suicide prevention network at Murdoch University.
