Event Description
AMHSW item numbers have been added to the HICAPS system for the processing of private health insurance claims, from September 2023. Hear from two HICAPS experts updating us on these changes, including the new HICAPS online portal with NDIS claims processing.
Please note: Private health insurers will consider whether to recognise AMHSWs and accept claims via HICAPS on their own timeline. Some may recognise AMHSWs but only accept manual claims. We will update members as new PHIs commit to using HICAPS for claims processing.
