Under recent WHS laws, it is mandatory to manage the risk of psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
Organisations now need to have strategies in place that support employees working with vulnerable clients given the serious health risks associated with burnout. This webinar will discuss the importance of evidenced based burnout prevention training as a critical response to risks associated with staff burnout.
Burnout and chronic stress are highly relevant concerns for front line social workers, and for those in organisational leadership.
Learning practical organisational and individual strategies will assist to support individual workers and teams working in under resourced and high risk environments to grow and develop resilience.
Using a strength based approach by reconnecting professionals to their passion and choice in working with people, this webinar takes a deep dive into understanding the difference between productive stress, chronic stress and burnout. Additional resources are also provided.
Who should register?
This webinar is suitable for those managing front line responders, practitioners and support workers, emergency services (police, child protection etc.) and telehealth services, family violence workers, mental health social workers, residential support workers and case workers working with clients in human service delivery sectors.
