Dr Pamela Trevithick is the Visiting Professor in Social Work at Buckinghamshire New University and a former Program Director for the BSc in Social Work at the University of Gloucestershire. She is the author of the best-selling text ‘Social Work Skills and Knowledge’: A Practice Handbook (2012), which is a recommended text on most UK social work programs and is sold widely in Australia.
