Event Description

This webinar addresses the profound and lasting effect of child sexual abuse on relationships through its effect on emotional, social and psychological development.


This webinar was presented by the AASW NSW Branch.


Presenter Melissa Holmes has worked in the homelessness sector since 2009, initially with youth and moving into the women’s mental health sector in 2016. She has a postgraduate degree in counselling for mental health and social care and operates within a framework of feminism and social justice. Since starting at Stepping Out Program in 2017, she has developed a speciality in childhood sexual abuse with a particular interest in intergenerational trauma.
