Event Description

Presenter: Amy Eden

A social worker by trade and a community advocate, Amy’s passion to serve community is currently delivered through her work as an elected member in local government.

Recognised for her leadership strengths and commitment to community, Amy is the winner of Australian Institute of Management Cairns Community Leader (2017) and the Cairns Business Women’s Club volunteer of the Year (2017) and is leading the charge towards positive social change in her community – the 3Ms (Manoora, Manunda + Mooroobool). A community connector, Amy brings people together through her positive movement projects 3MPride, the Manoora Community Garden and Unity – Moody Creek Project. Amy has successfully bought a diverse network of business and community people together through shared experiences, aligned agendas and positive language to write new narrative for the 3Ms… one of hope, of inspiration and one of unity.
